Does your child improvise?

At PA, we love to see how our students interact during free choice time. One of their favorite activities is playing with plain, wooden planks – but forget about the building suggestions in the book! Together, our students make some pretty amazing and intricate towers, tracks and patterns. Kids are natural improvisers, but some adults could probably use some help.

Read about a study that looks deeper into the relationship between comedic improvisation and creativity.

In his [Barry Kudrowitz] study of 84 participants, he found that improvisational comedians produce 20% more product ideas and 25% more creative ideas than professional product designers.”
